1. Who we are

Stay With It is operated by Vermilion Marketing LLC ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller of personal information collected through the service. You can reach us at support@staywithitplanner.com.

2. What we collect

Account information — your email address, password (stored hashed), and optional first name and display name.
Planner content — the tasks, notes, reminders, and bell rings you create in the app.
Support messages — anything you send us via email or the in-app feedback form.
Usage data — basic technical information like IP address, browser type, and how you interact with the app, used for security and to improve the service.
Authentication data — if you sign in with Google, your basic Google profile (email, name).

Payment details (card numbers, billing addresses) are collected and processed directly by our payment provider, Paddle. We never see or store your full payment card information.

3. How we use your information

To create and maintain your account.
To provide the planner, reminders, and related features.
To respond to your support requests.
To send essential service emails (billing, security, account changes).
To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
To improve the product based on aggregated usage patterns.

4. Legal basis

We rely on the following legal bases under applicable privacy law:

Contract performance — to provide the service you signed up for.
Legitimate interest — to keep the service secure and improve it.
Consent — for any optional marketing communications (you can opt out anytime).
Legal obligation — when we must retain or share data to comply with the law.

5. Who we share data with

Hosting and infrastructure providers — for running the application and storing your data securely.
Paddle — our Merchant of Record, for processing payments, managing subscriptions, calculating tax, and issuing invoices.
Email delivery providers — to send transactional emails (account, billing, reminders).
Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and similar advisers when needed.
Authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal, tax, or accounting purposes (typically up to 7 years for billing records).

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data.
Export your data in a portable format.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Withdraw consent at any time.
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage, access controls, and secure authentication. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach affecting your data we will notify you and applicable authorities as required by law.

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed to keep you logged in and the app functional. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Our payment provider may set its own cookies during checkout, governed by Paddle's Privacy Policy.

10. International transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place (such as standard contractual clauses) for international transfers.

11. Children

Stay With It is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
